Wildlife Response to Restoration
Oregonians are embracing the restoration of habitats, often in partnership with local non-profits or state and federal agencies. Although habitat conditions are usually assumed to improve following restoration, we often can’t judge how well wildlife responded to management activities. The Oregon Wildlife Institute works with managers and landowners to track wildlife response to habitat restoration. With this knowledge, future wildlife habitat restoration efforts can be improved.
